Creation of innovative functions, structures, and reactions by controlling intermolecular forces in mixtures. Discovery and understanding of novel physical phenomena and development of novel functional materials, photocatalytic systems and photoelectric conversion devices through collaboration between experimental chemistry, computational chemistry, and materials informatics. Analytical chemistry, photochemistry, and spectroscopy in minute dimensions including chemistry/physics of single micro-/nano-particles.
