Biosynthetic Chemistry

Biosynthesis of useful and unnatural chemicals using engineered biosynthetic systems, and in vitro evolution of enzymes to achieve the goal. The targets are biodegradable plastics, biocompatible polymers, chiral compounds, CO₂ fixation, lipid production and antibacterial lipid.
