Entrance Examinations<\/h3>\n

\u3010Important Notice(MUST-READ)\u3011Submission of English score sheet for the entrance examination of the Graduate School of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (recruitment of students enrolled in October 2024 or April 2025)<\/h5>\n

For those who wish to apply for the entrance examinations to be held in the 2024 academic year (for October 2024 or April 2025 enrollment), you are required to submit your English score sheet during the designated period described in the application guideline. The details are as follows.<\/p>\n

Either of the English-language proficiency examination score sheets listed in (a) or (b) below, from examinations taken in or after April 2022<\/span>.
\n(a) TOEFL test official score sheet
\nSubmit the Test Taker Score Report sent to the examinee by the U.S. Educational Testing Service (ETS). A printout of test results posted online shall be considered invalid.
\n(b) TOEIC L&R test score sheet
\nSubmit the Official Score Certificate. A printout of test results posted online shall be considered invalid. It takes about one month to receive scores after taking the examination, so be sure to take the examination early enough to get your scores in time. Those taking the TOEIC L&R test after April 2023 are also allowed to submit a printed copy of the Digital Official Score Certificate.<\/p>\n

Please note that scores from examinations such as the TOEFL -ITP test score sheet, TOEIC IP test and TOEIC Bridge test shall be considered invalid. If you have any questions, please contact the administration office of the Graduate School of Chemical Sciences and Engineering.<\/p>\n

Applicants who have completed a degree in which English was the medium of instruction may be exempt from providing their TOEIC or TOEFL score sheet by submitting an official document from their degree granting university confirming this (i.e., medium of instruction certificate). For more information, please contact the administration office of the Graduate School of Chemical Sciences and Engineering.<\/p>\n

Applicants are required to take either TOEFL iBT or TOEIC L&R in advance.<\/h5>\n
